Nudestix tins are made of tinplate, an infinitely recyclable material.

It’s easy to join a small movement and make a big difference…

Why does Nudestix use reusable tins and reject single-use plastic/paper packaging? Because single-use waste represents the epitome of today’s throw-away culture. We encourage reusable and recyclable materials only. With environmentally friendly packaging materials we can do a lot for our planet.

Buy a NUDESTIX or NUDESKIN product and opt-in to order your free black recycling bag on with any purchase.

Reuse your travel-friendly tin to organize your makeup and touch up to-go. Other ways to reuse your tins include for: jewelry, headsets, cotton swabs, feminine hygiene products, etc.

Did you run out of ways to use your tins and mirrors? Did you finish your NUDESKIN products and clean out the tubes? Do you have at least 10 tins and tubes? Then let’s recycle together. Fill the bag with 10-15 tins and/or tubes and seal well.

Bring your postage pre-paid bag to your local post office. This will go directly to be recycled so DO NOT include return products as Nudestix will NOT get them and you will NOT get any credit for them.

Tins/tubes are sent to the recycling facility. Tinplate is separated into bundle scrap metal and mixed metals recycled into new industrial products.

Note: Only available in areas that ships. Stay tuned for us to expand this program globally.

Eco Fact #1:
Reports show less than 10% of the world's plastics has been recycled. Most plastic ends up in landfills, our oceans and waterways, and the environment. Plastics do not biodegrade. Instead, they break down into microplastics that take thousands of years to decompose and toxic chemicals used to manufacture plastic gets transferred to animal tissue, eventually entering the human food chain.
Eco Fact #2:
Most paperboard used in cosmetics is laminated and cannot be recycled.
Eco Fact #3
Our NUDESKIN plastic packaging that is PET, which stands for polyethylene terephthalate, is 100% biodegradable in landfills. Biodegradable products are not necessarily compostable.
Eco Fact #4
Mixed metal can be recycled into useful industrial products such as asphalt.
